About Pet Therapy

A small family-run cattery in Southern California, raising multiple breeds across two family homes since 2017. No separate facility, no kennel — every kitten grows up inside our real daily family life.

The breeds we raise

We specialize in four breeds, with the occasional rare visitor under "Other":

• Devon Rex — curious, athletic, soft curly coat that doesn't shed much
• Munchkin (shortleg) — playful, low-to-the-ground, big personalities in small frames
• Ragdoll — gentle, dog-like personality; large, plush coat
• British Shorthair — calm, dignified, plush teddy-bear silhouette
• Other — occasionally, when we have a special pairing

Why we raise multiple breeds

Most catteries specialize in one breed. We chose differently — because no two families are alike, and the right cat depends entirely on the family.

A young couple in a small apartment doesn't need the same cat as a household with kids and a dog. Someone with allergies often does best with a Devon Rex. First-time cat parents often do best with a Ragdoll. We raise multiple breeds so we can match you to the cat that genuinely fits your life — not just sell you whatever happens to be in our current litter.

Working with multiple breeds also keeps us honest. We've watched temperaments develop across breeds, learned what's normal versus concerning across each one, and we don't have to defend any single breed's quirks. We just want each cat to thrive in its new home.

Our philosophy

We breed for health first, temperament second, appearance third. Every Queen and Sire is screened for breed-specific genetic conditions (HCM, PKD, and others) before joining our program. Our kittens go home fully weaned, litter-trained, and with a vet-checked health record.

Transparency & Trust

At Pet Therapy Cattery, bringing home a kitten should be a joyful experience — not an endless waiting game.

While many families place deposits far in advance and may wait years on a waitlist, we do things differently.

We only accept reservation deposits for kittens that have already been born — so you are choosing a real kitten you can see and connect with.

All of our Kings and Queens are available for FaceTime verification upon request, because we believe trust begins with transparency.

Our goal is to raise healthy, beautiful kittens with love, honesty, and exceptional care.

Our two homes

Pet Therapy is a small, family-run cattery — not a business operation built for scale. The two residences below are simply our family's homes, neither built as a commercial facility. Working across two homes lets each breed have the space and daily routines it needs, while every kitten still grows up surrounded by real family life.

We operate two residences in Southern California:

• Fontana, CA — our primary home; most queens and litters live here
• Temple City, CA — our second home; some breeds and parent cats live here

Both are real residences, not commercial facilities. We welcome appointment visits to either location. For families outside California, we deliver via professional flight nanny to all US states except Hawaii.
